One can not have writing without reading. A continual drive to learn and grow is what drives so much of my writing. Sharing with others a unique perspective and something helps engage a targeted or new audience - and begins a new conversation.
Since 2013, Christina has been writing and publishing articles and columns in newspapers, magazines, and professional blogs and writing and managing web content for clients. Her passion is finding and telling the stories of connection and impact of people and progress.
In 2021, Christina entered the research communications space and writes stories, creates social media content, and manages websites for researchers funded by the National Science Foundation through the University of Notre Dame. In 2020, she was at the frontline of reporting for Berrien County, in Southwest Michigan, during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Throughout her career, Christina has intentionally made space for freelance articles to feed her interests - especially in the upper Midwest’s restaurant and foodie scene. Concurrent with her early journey into journalism, Christina spent a decade as a licensed esthetician and makeup artist, giving her first-hand experience and knowledge of the beauty industry. Combining her knowledge and passion for beauty and fashion with writing is a dream she hopes to fulfill in the future.
Much of Christina’s work is currently focused on serving two research centers based at the University of Notre Dame. Her daily professional work, and website management, may be seen at NSF CI Compass and NSF SpectrumX.
Christina has published work featured in the Niles Daily Star, Michiana Life Magazine, Horizons Magazine (via Leader Publications), Edible Michiana, NDWorks, Pan-O-Ply Michiana, and The Goshen News, including The hArt and Progress magazine. Early in her career, she was published in Michiana SASSY, VerilyMag and P.S. I Love You on Medium. She has added copyediting articles for Exotica Moderne and Reverb International to her list of publications. In addition, she wrote for a tech blog, writing commentary such as drawing parallels between Star Trek and the earlier artificial intelligence products. Fun has to be a part of writing, right?
